  • How Do I open account with 50K?

    To open a new 50K account, follow these steps:
    1. Install 50K app from the online stores (Google Play or App Store).
    2. Click on the 'Setup Account' button.
    3. Enter your email address, set a password, or sign up with your Facebook or Google accounts. Alternatively, you can enter as a guest with no need to enter any credentials.
    4. Your account has been successfully opened.

  • How old should I be to invest and trade with 50K?

    You should be at least 18 years old.

  • Are my assets and money safe with 50K?

    Yes, your money and assets are secure with 50K.
    Your funds are kept in a segregated client account, whether you are engaging in "50K Shares" for equity investments or "50K CFDs" for contracts for difference trading.
    Additionally, on "50K Shares", your assets are held in custody under your name. 50K is owned and operated by 50KCY LTD, a Cyprus Investment Firm (CIF) authorized and regulated by the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission (CySEC). The firm holds license number 282/15 and is registered under company number HE336677, ensuring it operates under strict regulations and standards.

  • How can I start investing and trading with a real account using 50K?

    To start using your real account with the 50K app, here’s what you need to do:
    1. Install the 50K App: Download and open the 50K app on your device. By default, the app opens in 'Demo' mode. To switch to 'Real' mode, you can:
    Click the green banner that says "Switch to Real Money".
    Use the menu to change the account mode.
    2. Provide Personal Details: Fill out your personal information and complete a short questionnaire to assess your familiarity with our services and products.
    3. Make a Deposit: Add funds to your account to begin investing or trading.
    4. Verify Your Account: Complete the necessary verification process by following the below steps:
    Click on the menu in the left upper corner.
    Click on the “Verification Center”.
    Upload your KYC documents.
    5. Enroll to the products: Once our dedicated team reviews and approves your documents, you may proceed with the below steps to complete the setup of your trading account. Click on the menu in the left upper corner.
    Click on the “Trading Eligibility”.
    Enroll to the product(s) that you like.
    You are good to go!

  • How can I start investing and trading with a Demo account using 50K?

    To activate and use a Demo account with the 50K app, please follow these steps:
    Install the 50K App: Download and open the 50K app on your device. It will initially open in ‘Real’ mode.
    Access the Menu: Navigate to the menu to find the account settings.
    Switch to Demo Mode: Select the 'Switch To Demo' option within the menu and confirm the switch. This changes your account mode from 'Real' to 'Demo'.

  • How can I delete my account?

    You have the right under certain conditions to ask us to delete your personal data from our records. If your situation meets these conditions and there are no legal reasons for us to keep your data (for example, if Cypriot or EU laws require us to retain it), we will remove your personal data from our system.
    In respect to the aforementioned rights, we will respond to requests for personal data and, where applicable, will correct, amend, or delete your personal data. You can send the relevant request to the following e-mail address: dpo@50K.trade, and we'll assist you accordingly.

  • Account Verification Process

  • How do I upload documents?

    Click the 'Settings' button located on the lower right corner of '50K' app. Select 'Verification Center' and then click on 'Provide Personal Details.' If you haven't yet filled out your personal details, you will be prompted to do so. After entering your details, you can upload the necessary documents. You may use your mobile camera to take photos of the documents, or you can upload files that are already stored on your mobile.

    *Documents can be uploaded in the following formats: .pdf, .jpg and .png

  • What is a proof of identity?

    Any copy of your valid passport or an identification card (both sides of the card). This document must contain:
    1. Full Name
    2. Date of Birth
    3. A Photograph

  • Why do I need to verify my identity?

    Verification of your Identity is required in order to comply with financial service law and to avoid fraud or identity theft. Your information is always kept confidential and safe with limited access.

  • What is required to verify my account?

    In order to verify your account, both your identity and place of residence needs to be verified. The account verification is done to keep your security and to comply with regulations. We shall perform these checks during the registration process as well as on an ongoing basis according to the company's requirements.

  • What is a Tax Identification Number (TIN)?

    Tax Identification Number (TIN) is a number issued by government tax authorities to individuals and organizations to uniquely identify them. Each country/jurisdiction has its own TIN form.

  • What is CFD?

    A Contract For Differences (CFD) is a financial derivative that is monitored closely by financial regulators.
    CFDs were developed to allow customers to enjoy all the benefits of holding Stocks, Indices, Forex, Commodities and even Cryptocurrencies without having to physically own the underlying instrument. When a customer enters into a CFD at a quoted price, the difference between the opening price and the closing price of the CFD, may be the profit or loss, hence the term 'Contract For Difference' or CFD.

  • What is CFD Trading?

    A CFD is a Contact for Differences or financial derivatives monitored closely by financial regulators. By trading on CFDs, you do not own the asset but are trading on the price movement. One of the key elements is the option to open a “Buy” position when you believe the price will increase or a “Sell” position when you believe that the price will decrease. When entering into a CFD at a quoted price, the difference between the opening and closing prices of the CFD may be the profit or loss, hence the term 'Contract For Difference' or CFD.

  • What are the advantages and disadvantages of trading CFD?

    The main advantages of CFD trading are:
    1. The ability to Sell which is not always available to all instruments at global financial markets.
    2. Leverage - you can use a small amount and borrow larger amounts from your broker and gain higher profits or losses.
    3. Simplicity - you don't actually own the underlying financial asset. For example, while trading Cryptocurrencies there is no need to open a digital wallet.
    The main disadvantages of CFD trading are:
    1. You are not holding the underlying asset. For example, while trading CFDs on stocks, you don't own the stock itself.
    2. CFDs are complex instruments and come with a high risk of losing money rapidly due to leverage. You may refer to our "Risk Disclosure Notice" document.

  • What can I Trade with 50K?

    50K enables to trade CFDs on the world’s most traded Indices, Stocks, Commodities, Forex and Cryptocurrencies.

    Indices - a stock index is a statistic that reflects the composite value of a group of stocks. The stocks listed within an index bear similar characteristics such as trading on the same stock exchange, being in the same industry, having comparable market capitalizations, etc. World-leading indices are available for trading through CFDs at '50K Trade'. With a leverage of up to 1:20, you are exposed to the world's leading equity indices.

    Stocks - represent units into which a company’s capital is divided for investment and ownership purposes. When trading CFD Stocks, you enjoy all the benefits of having an interest in the price movement of the stock, without having to physically own it. '50K Trade' allows you to trade through CFDs the world’s most actively traded stocks. With a leverage of up to 1:5, you are exposed to the most actively traded shares listed on different world's stock exchanges.

    Commodities - are hard assets ranging from wheat to gold to oil, and as there are so many, they are grouped together in three major categories: agriculture, energy and metals. Commodities are traded by dealers on an open exchange. That means that the prices change every day. Commodities futures are an agreement to buy or sell a commodity at a specific date in the future, at a specific price. Top World’s commodities are available for trading through CFDs at '50K Trade'. With a leverage of up to 1:20 with Gold and up to 1:10 with all the rest, you are exposed to the world's most actively traded commodities.

    Forex - the foreign exchange market for trading currencies. When referring to CFD Forex trading, we refer to the exchange of one currency for another at an agreed exchange price. In order to conduct foreign trade and business, currencies need to be exchanged. At '50K Trade', you can trade CFDs on some of the world's most popular Forex pairs. With leverage of up to 1:30, you are exposed the world's most actively traded Forex pairs.

    Cryptocurrencies - A digital currency that is secured by cryptography, most of these currencies are decentralized networks based on blockchain technology - a distributed ledger enforced by a disparate network of computers. When trading CFD on Cryptocurrencies, you enjoy all the benefits of having an interest in the price movement of the currency, without having to open and maintain a digital wallet. '50K Trade' allows you to trade through CFDs the world’s most attractive Cryptocurrencies. With a leverage of 1:2, you are exposed to the world's most attractive coins.

  • Do I need to have a digital wallet in order to trade Cryptocurrencies?

    No.
    Since '50K' offers CFD trading, you don't own Cryptocurrencies and therefore you don't need to have a wallet or to open one.

  • What instruments are available for investment through 50K?

    50K enables you to invest in the world's most tradable real assets, such as stocks and ETFs.

    Stocks - represent units into which a company’s capital is divided for investment and ownership purposes. With '50K Invest', you are exposed to the most actively traded shares listed on different US and EU stock exchanges.

    ETFs - Exchange-Traded Funds, are investment funds that are traded on stock exchanges, much like stocks. They hold assets such as stocks, commodities, or bonds and generally operate with an arbitrage mechanism designed to keep trading close to its net asset value, though deviations can occasionally occur. '50K Invest' allows you to invest the most actively traded ETFs listed on different world's stock exchanges.

  • How can I find instruments to trade and invest in '50K' App?

    You might use the search control by typing the name of an instrument and a list of relevant results should popup. Alternatively, you may search for an instrument by exploring the lists of instruments of each instrument category.

  • What is an Order?

    An Order is a request to 'Buy' or 'Sell' , in a certain amount, on any instrument

  • How do I place an order?

    To place an order, you should follow these steps:
    1. Select the instrument you would like to trade/invest and then click on 'Buy'/'Sell' button, respectively.
    2. Click on 'Buy' if you think the price should rise; otherwise, click on 'Sell' if you think the price should fall.
    3. Set the amount you would like to trade in currency or instrument units.
    4. Should you want to change some of the order's settings, you may do the following:
     4.1 'Buy/Sell at a price' - Allows you to specify the price at which the order shall be executed.
     4.1 'Close at a profit' - Allows you to specify the price at which an open position shall be auto-closed for a profit (the actual price may be slightly different due to slippage).
     4.2 'Close at a loss' - Allows you to specify the price at which an open position shall be auto-closed for a loss (the actual price may be slightly different due to slippage).
    5. Click the 'Confirm Buy' or 'Confirm Sell' button to execute the order.

  • How do I cancel an Order?

    You have 2 options to cancel an order:
    1. In case you have an open order on a specific instrument, Click on 'Show Orders' of that very instrument. Click on the order itself and then at the 'Order' page, scroll down and click on 'Cancel Order' button. The order shall be cancelled.
    2. Click on the 'Portfolio' button, located on the lower left corner. Click on 'Show Orders' of a specific instrument. order you would like to cancel. Click on the order itself and then at the 'Order' page, scroll down and click on 'Cancel Order' button. The order shall be cancelled.

  • What is a Position?

    A position is a set of one or more orders on a single instrument, that have been already executed and are still open. Each instrument may have only one single position at a given time.
    For Example:
    In case the following orders were executed:
    1. Buy 500 units of ABC stock at Price X
    2. Buy 300 units of ABC stock at Price Y
    3. Sell 200 units of ABC stock at Price Z
    You will have a single position of ABC stock with a market exposure of 600 units.

  • How do I close a position?

    You have 3 options to close a position:
    1. In case you have a position on a specific instrument, that position shall be displayed below that very instrument. Click the 'x' icon and then approve your action by clicking on 'Confirm Close' button located at the 'Position' Page. In case markets are open, the position shall be closed.
    2. In the 'Portfolio' page, Click the 'x' icon of an open position you would like to close. Approve your action by clicking on 'Confirm Close' button located at the 'Position' Page. In case markets are open, the position shall be closed.
    3. In case you have an open 'Buy' position, Enter the same amount you have opened the position with and click on 'Sell' button. In case you have an open 'Sell' position, Enter the same amount you have opened the position with and click on 'Buy' button. In both cases and in case markets are open, the position shall be closed.

  • What is Leverage?

    Leverage enables investors to increase their exposure to a financial instrument, without investing the whole amount of funds needed to take the trade. When using Leverage, investors invest only a fraction of the total value of a position. Both, Profits and Losses are based on the total size of the position, which may lead to much larger Profits as well as losses when using high leverage.

    * Each instrument type has a different maximum leverage level.
    * Using higher leverage carries an increased potential for financial risk. You may refer to our Risk Disclosure Document, as well as to our Leverage Policy Document.

  • What is Margin?

    Margin is the minimum amount of funds, one must have in his balance, in order to open a new position or to keep an existing position opened for a specific instrument. Each instrument type might have different margin requirements. In order to know what are the initial margin requirements for a specific instrument, click on the 'Info' button of that instrument and then click on 'Details'.
    * The Cyprus National Product Intervention Measures introduced a margin close-out level when the clients’ funds fall to 50% of the maintenance margin needed to maintain their open positions on their CFD account.

  • What is Initial Margin?

    The required funds to open a position that should be free in your Real Account.

  • What is Maintenance Margin (Min Account Value)?

    In order to keep positions open, equity must exceed the accumulated maintenance margin (min. account value) level. If this margin level is not maintained, positions will be automatically closed.
    * The Cyprus National Product Intervention Measures introduced a margin close-out level when the clients’ funds fall to 50% of the maintenance margin needed to maintain their open positions on their CFD account.

  • Does '50K' pay dividends?

    Yes.
    Dividends are a portion of corporate profits allocated to shareholders, distributed on a specific date known as the 'ex-dividend date'. Depending on your position, your account may be credited or debited if you are holding a stock that pays dividends:
    - If you hold a Long position (Buy), you will receive a portion of the dividend payment in your balance.
    - If you hold a Short position (Sell), a portion of the dividend payment will be deducted from your balance.

  • Why do I pay a withholding tax upon receiving a dividend payment, and how can I reduce it?

    Withholding tax on dividends is often required by governments to collect taxes on income at the source. This means that the tax is deducted from the dividend payment before you receive it. Regarding US stocks, the withholding tax may be reduced depending on your country of residence by completing the dedicated tax form in the '50K' app. For other stocks, the specific withholding tax rate is determined by relevant international treaties.

  • What is a W-8BEN form and why should I sign it?

    W-8BEN form is a US Internal Revenue Service (IRS) form, allows non-US individuals and businesses to confirm they are not a US taxpayer.
    Signing the W-8BEN form will ensure that any tax reduction on US-based dividends is applied correctly.

  • Can I trade Fractional Shares with 50K?

    Yes, you can trade fractional shares with 50K.
    Fractional shares are portions of a full share of stock, allowing you to invest in companies without purchasing an entire share. This makes investing more accessible, especially in high-priced stocks, enabling you to diversify your portfolio even with limited funds. If a company pays dividends, you’ll receive a proportionate part of the dividend.

    Advantages of Fractional Shares:
     - Accessibility: You can invest in high-value stocks like Amazon or Google without needing the funds to buy a whole share.
     - Diversification: With the ability to purchase smaller amounts of stock, you can spread your investment across a wider range of companies, reducing risk.
     - Flexibility: Invest amounts that align with your budget, not the price of a whole share, allowing for precise investment strategies.

    Disadvantages of Fractional Shares:
     - Voting Rights: Typically, fractional shareowners do not receive voting rights in the company’s shareholder meetings.

  • How do I add funds via a credit/debit card (new)?

    To deposit funds in your '50K' Real Account, using a credit/debit card that haven’t been added yet, please perform the following steps:
    1. Keep in mind that when depositing by a credit/debit Card - the card must belong to the account holder and the name should be shown on the card
    2. Click on 'Settings' at the lower right corner of '50K' app.
    3. Click on the 'Add Funds' green button located at the bottom of 50K App or click on 'Funds Management' and then on 'Deposit'.
    4. If this is your first deposit, you'll initially see the option to fund your account via Google Pay or Apple Pay. If you'd like to deposit using a credit card instead, simply click the back arrow in the upper left corner of the 50K app.
    5. Click the 'Credit/Debit Card' option At the 'Deposit' page.
    6. In case you haven't completed your registration with 50K yet, you should complete it before adding a credit card.
    7. Fill up the following details:
     7.1 Your card number
     7.2 Your card's expiry date
     7.3 The CVV code (3 digits on the back of your card)
     7.4 Click on "Add Card" button
     7.5 Click the amount you would like to deposit and then click on 'Next'
    8. Once your credit/debit card has been added to your cards list, you should verify it by clicking the "Verify" button
    9. Upload photos of both the front and the back of your credit/debit card. Please follow the security instructions before taking both photos
    10. Once your card has been approved, you should see the deposited funds at your '50K' account's balance.
    11. If your deposit hasn't been approved for any reason, you will be notified.

  • How do I add funds via a credit/debit card (already been added)?

    To deposit funds in your '50K' Real Account, using a credit/debit card have already been added, please perform the following steps:
    1. Click on the 'Settings' button located at the lower right corner of '50K' app.
    2. Click on the 'Add Funds' green button located at the bottom of 50K App or click on 'Funds Management' and then on 'Deposit'.
    3. Click on one of the shown cards, have been already added
    4. Enter the amount you want to deposit and click on 'Submit'.
    5. Once the transaction is completed and approved by your credit card company, you should see the deposited funds at your '50K' account's balance.
    6. If your deposit hasn't been approved for any reason, you will be notified.

  • How do I add funds via Apple/Google pay?

    To deposit funds in your '50K' Real Account, using your Apple Pay or Google Pay, please perform the following steps:
    2. Click on the 'Settings' button located at the lower right corner of '50K' app.
    3. Click on the 'Add Funds' green button located at the bottom of 50K App or click on 'Funds Management' and then on 'Deposit'.
    4. If this is your first deposit, please skip this step, otherwise click the 'Google Pay' or 'Apple Pay' button.
    5. Enter the amount you would like to deposit.
    6. Click on 'Pay with G Pay' or 'Pay with Apple Pay' button.
    7. Once your card has been approved, you should see the deposited funds at your '50K' account's balance.
    8. In case your deposit is not approved for any reason, you will be notified.

    * Please note that in case you are using Google Pay or Apple Pay with a credit/debit card that hasn't been verified yet by '50K', it needs to be verified first before making a deposit.

  • How do I add funds via a Wire Transfer?

    To deposit funds in your '50K' Real Account, using a Wire Transfer, please perform the following steps:
    1. Keep in mind that when depositing by a wire transfer - the bank account, being used for sending the wire transfer, must belong to the '50K' account owner.
    2. Click on the 'Settings' button located at the lower right corner of '50K' app.
    3. Click on the 'Add Funds' green button located at the bottom of 50K App or click on 'Funds Management' and then on 'Deposit'.
    4. If this is your first deposit, you'll initially see the option to fund your account via Google Pay or Apple Pay. If you'd like to deposit using a wire transfer instead, simply click the back arrow in the upper left corner of the 50K app.
    5. Click the 'Wire Transfer' option
    6. Review '50K' ('50KCY LTD') bank account details (This your transaction's destination) and click on 'Create New Transaction' button.
    7. A new Transaction ID has been created, please make sure to include it when issuing the transaction documents at your bank.
    8. Should you have the transaction approval document ready, you may upload it by clicking on 'Upload File' button.
    9. Should you want to upload the transaction approval document later, you may click on 'Upload Later' button.
    10. In both cases (step 7 or step 8), you should see the new transaction ID at the 'Deposit' page. In case you have already uploaded the transaction approval document (step 7), the transaction is verified. Otherwise (step 8), click on the 'Verify' button, once you have the transaction approval document ready for upload.
    11. Once your transaction has been approved and funds were received successfully, you should see the deposited funds in your 50K account's balance.
    12. In case your Wire Transfer hasn't been approved for any reason, you will be notified.

  • Does 50K support alternative payment methods?

    Yes. We support 'GiroPay' and 'Sofort'
    1. Click on 'Account' and then on 'Funds Management'
    2. Click on 'Deposit'
    3. Click on 'GiroPay' or 'Sofort'
    4. Enter the amount you want to deposit and click 'Submit'
    5. Continue with the payment process in 'GiroPay' or 'Sofort' respectively.

    *Please note that both 'GiroPay' and 'Sofort' are not available in all countries. Please make sure that 'GiroPay' and 'Sofort' are available in your country.

  • Is there a limitation on the amount I can deposit?

    The minimum deposit amount is 50€.
    The maximum deposit depends on your selected payment method.

  • What is the minimum amount I can deposit?

    The minimum deposit amount is €50 (or an equivalent amount in other currencies).

  • Does '50K' charge a deposit fee?

    No.

  • Does 50K support real-time bank transfers?

    Yes. We Support 'Plaid' - Financial services company
    1. Click on the 'Settings' button located at the lower right corner of '50K' app.
    2. Click on the 'Add Funds' green button located at the bottom of 50K App or click on 'Funds Management' and then on 'Deposit'.
    3. If this is your first deposit, you'll initially see the option to fund your account via Google Pay or Apple Pay. If you'd like to deposit using a real-time bank transfer instead, simply click the back arrow in the upper left corner of the 50K app.
    4. Click on 'Real-Time Bank Transfer'
    5. Enter the amount you want to deposit and click 'Submit'
    6. Continue with the payment process in 'Plaid'

    *Please note that 'Plaid' is not available in all countries. Please make sure that 'Plaid' is available in your country.

  • Withdrawals

  • How do I withdraw funds from my account?

    Want to withdraw funds from your account? No problem! Customers may withdraw funds from their '50K' Real money account at any time.
    In order to withdraw funds from your account, Please perform the following steps:
    1. Click on the 'Settings' button located at the lower right corner of '50K' app.
    2. Click on 'Funds Management' and then Click on 'Withdraw'.
    3. Select your payment method to use for your withdrawal.
    4. Enter the amount you want to withdraw.
    5. Click on 'Continue' and approve your withdrawal request.

  • When will I receive my withdraw funds?

    Withdrawals are processed within one business day after receiving the withdrawal request. Once the instruments have been sold and your withdrawal method approved, funds will be transferred back to your original deposit method. This typically takes between 1-5 days, depending on the payment method used and your bank.

  • What is the minimum withdrawal amount?

    The minimum withdrawal amount is:
    1. For credit/debit cards, the minimum withdrawal amount is 10€. In case less than 10€ is available for withdrawal, a fee of 1€ shall be charged.
    2. For Wire Transfers, the minimum withdrawal amount is 100€. In case less than 100€ is available for withdrawal, a fee of 10€ shall be charged.

  • Does '50K' charge withdrawal fees?

    No, but in case the amount left in your account is less than the minimum amount for withdrawal, a fee shall be charged:
    1. For Credit Cards, the minimum withdrawal amount is 10€.
    2. For Wire Transfers, the minimum withdrawal amount is 100€. In case less than 100€ is available for withdrawal, a fee of 10€ shall be charged.

  • Does '50K' charge any Buy/Sell fees?

    No fees are charged when trading US stocks. To review the fees being charged when trading other instruments, you may refer to our Fees page.

  • Does '50K' charge any maintenance fees?

    No.

  • Does '50K' charge a deposit fee?

    No.

  • Does '50K' charge withdrawal fees?

    No, but in case the amount left in your account is less than the minimum amount for withdrawal, a fee shall be charged:
    1. For Credit Cards, the minimum withdrawal amount is 10€.
    2. For Wire Transfers, the minimum withdrawal amount is 100€. In case less than 100€ is available for withdrawal, a fee of 10€ shall be charged.

  • Where can I see all of my charges?

    1. In case you want to see the charge of an opened position, do the following steps:
     1.1 On the 'Portfolio' page, click on a specific open position.
     1.2 Click on 'Show More' located under the 'Profit' value.
     1.3 Scroll down the menu and watch the 'Premium' aggregated value that has been charged so far.
    2. In case you want get a full report on your charges, do the following steps:
     2.1 Click on the 'Settings' button located at the lower right corner of 50K app.
     2.2 Click on 'Reports'.
     2.3 Click on 'Account Statement Report', Select the required time period and click on 'Submit'.
     2.4 Your requested report should be sent to your email.

    * Aggregated premium value is being updated on an hourly basis
    ** In case you hold a position for a part of the day, only a relative portion is being collected

  • Does '50K' charges any currency conversion fees?

    No.
    Currency conversion occurs each time you buy or sell financial instruments quoted in a currency different from your account's denomination. '50K' utilizes the forex pair prices quoted in the Trade Account, which have tight spreads.

    '50K' is a domain owned and operated by 50KCY LTD (previously 50CoinsCY Ltd), a Cyprus Investment Firm (CIF) authorized and regulated by the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission (CySEC) with a License number 282/15.

  • Can I trade and invest with '50K' in my country?

    '50K' is a domain owned by 50KCY LTD operates under CySEC regulation and is available in all of the following countries:
    Austria, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain and Sweden.
